Settlement of Wagers
Statistics provided by the main score(s) service provider or the main website of the pertinent competition or event will be used to settle wagers. Where data from an official rating(s) provider or main website are not available or there is substantial evidence that the main rating(s) provider or main site is inaccurate, we will utilize independent evidence to support bet settlement.
In the absence of constant, independent evidence or in the presence of significant conflicting evidence, bets will be settled based on our own stats.
Betting Information
General
Race Surface
If on the day of a race the surface area is altered (e.g., Turf to Dirt/All Weather or vice versa), then bets will stand.
Win/Place Betting
Bets are settled to win unless Win/Place is picked. An Win/Place bet is a bet of twice the selected unit wager. It contains one bet of unit wager on the choice to Win and one bet of system wager on the selection to be Placed according to the terms marketed for the occasion. In general, the Place part of Win/Place bets will be settled according to the following Place terms:
- Handicaps of 16 or more starters, one quarter the odds, first 4 locations.
- Handicaps of 12 to 15 beginners, one quarter the odds, initially 3 places.
- All other races of 8 or more starters, one fifth the odds, first 3 locations.
- Races of 5, 6, or 7 beginners, one quarter the chances, first two places.
- Less than 5 starter, the location cash is invested to Win.
Position Payout
Position Payout is a set odds market, which provides you the alternative to place a bet on your horse to end up within a series of ending up positions. The payout of your bet is figured out by the set multiplier assigned to the ending up position of your horse.
Bets on scratches will be considered no action.
If a horse(s) is withdrawn from a particular race with odds of higher than +475, your choice will stand at the current costs. If the withdrawn horse(s) has odds of +450 or less, then your choice will be recalculated at the current prices. In case of the number of runners in the race being equivalent to or less than the variety of ending up positions provided sometimes of bet placement, then bets will be considered no action.
For any Position Payout bets, in case of a dead-heat, we will pay the complete reproduction worth for the higher place. As an example, if your horse dead heats up for 3rd and fourth location, you will be paid completely for the 3rd place multiplier.

Runners Under Starting Orders
In all races the variety of beginners will be the variety of starters coming under beginners orders. Bets will not be accepted where the Place wager surpasses the Win wager. Win/Place 2 Leg Parlays, 3 Leg Parlays, and Multi Leg Parlays will be settled Win to Win and Place to Place in accordance with the above.
Each Way Extra
Each Way Extra bets are considered an offset to standard Win/Place terms. In the event of scratches, if the basic Win/Place terms change, then the Each Way Extra terms will likewise alter appropriately (including changes to the number of locations offered and/or the market place portion).
Money Back (Win Insurance)
Money Back (Win Insurance) 2 Places
The price for the selection to win the race is less than for Win and Win/Place markets, but cash back if your choice finishes 2nd. Bets on scratches will be considered no action, and when suitable Rule 4 will apply to all staying runners based upon the cost of the scratched horse in the normal Win market (not the Cover Bet price). In case of scratches, the variety of places paid will stay the same, unless the variety of runners in the race is equivalent to or less than the variety of places paid, in which case all bets will be deemed no action. Dead-heat guidelines apply. Our Double Result offer will apply to this market.
Money Back (Win Insurance) 3 Places
As above but cash back for completing 2nd or 3rd.
Money Back (Win Insurance) 4 Places
As above however money back for completing 2nd, 3rd, or fourth.
Refund (Win Insurance) 5 Places
As above but refund for finishing second, third, fourth, or fifth.
Money Back (Win Insurance) 6 Places
As above but money back for completing 2nd, third, 4th, 5th, or sixth.
Money Back (Win Insurance) 7 Places
As above however refund for finishing second, third, 4th, 5th, sixth, or seventh.
Money Back (Win Insurance) 8 Places
As above however refund for ending up 2nd, 3rd, fourth, 5th, sixth, seventh, or 8th.
Cash Back (Win Insurance) 9 Places
As above however refund for finishing second, 3rd, 4th, fifth, 6th, seventh, 8th, or ninth.
Refund (Win Insurance) 10 places
As above however cash back for finishing second, 3rd, 4th, fifth, 6th, seventh, 8th, ninth, or tenth.
Place Betting
To Place 2-10/1 -2/ 1-2-3 Betting
These markets are settled according to the terms advertised for the event. Bets on scratches will be considered no action, and when appropriate, a reduction will apply to all remaining runners based on the relevant Place Only/1 -2/ 1-2-3 odds of the withdrawn horse at the time of withdrawal, using the table listed below. In case of scratches, we reserve the right to change the place terms offered for subsequent bets put. In the occasion of the variety of runners in the race amounting to or less than the number of places offered at time of bet placement, then bets will be considered no action. Normal dead-heat guidelines apply. Our Double Result offer will use to this market. However, our Lucky 15/31/63 perks do not use to Place Only bets.

In case of 2 or more horses being scratched before coming under Starter's Orders, then the total reductions will not exceed $0.90 in $.
Betting Without
Dead-heat guidelines apply. Where we provide chances on an event without a chosen choice(s), for settlement functions the finishing position of the "without" choice(s) will be disregarded.
In the event of a scratch or of scratches a Guideline 4 deduction will be applied based upon the cost (in the defined "without" market) of the non-runner at the time of withdrawal. When it comes to a scratch or of scratches leaving only one priced estimate runner in a "without" market, then our Walkover guidelines will use and bets will be considered no action.
Where there are no finishers in a race excluding the "without" selections, then all bets will be considered no action.
Any Win/Place terms advertised are chosen the real variety of runners who participate in the race, leaving out the "without" selection(s).
Fixed Odds Exactas and Fixed Odds Trifectas
Fixed Odds Exacta

Fixed Odds Trifecta
When Fixed Odds Betting is readily available with 3 or more beginners, bet365 might provide Fixed Odds Trifecta Wagers. Trifecta wagering involves predicting 1st, second, and 3rd locations in a race.
In the event of a scratching which is 10.00 or less in the bet365 Fixed Odds Win Market, Fixed Odds Trifectas placed prior to the scratching will be paid at the bet365 closing fixed chances trifecta rate. For scratchings over 10.00 the priced estimate odds will stand.
In case of just 2 starters starting a race, all Fixed Odds Trifecta bets will be considered no action.
In case of only 2 starters finishing the race, the outcome will be settled with a dividend being stated equivalent to the bet365 closing fixed chances exacta cost, assuming the initial Trifecta bet includes the 2 finishers in the right placements, with any of the other beginners to complete 3rd.
In the event of just 1 starter completing the race, a dividend will be declared equivalent to the bet365 closing cost in the repaired odds win market.
Scratches Other Than Futures
Where a horse is scratched before coming under starter's orders, or is officially considered by the runner to have actually taken no part in the race, then wagers will be returned on the scratched horse and winning bets will be subject to deductions in accordance with Rule 4 (Deductions). The rate of reduction will be based upon the cost of the scratched horse at the time of its scratching on the following scale:

Winning Distance Over/Under Reside In Game
Where there is a dead-heat, winning bets will be settled under the quote to the full wager. Where a horse finishes alone, bets will be settled over the quote. Where a horse ends up precisely on the quote, then all bets will be settled as no action.
Match Bet, Including Reside In Game
All selections need to be considered an official runner or bets are deemed no action.
The choice that achieves the highest finishing position is the winner. Bets will be chosen the Correct Weight or the All Clear outcome provided by the main governing body.
Dead-heat guidelines use.
If both or all choices stop working to complete, all bets will be considered no action and wagers returned.

Winning Distances
Where suitable, the named horse should win. All bets will be settled according to the main distance as mentioned at the weigh-in. Any scratches, then Rule 4 (Deductions) will use to Horse Winning Distances (not relevant to Race Winning Distances). Where the named horse is a dead-heat winner, then bets will be settled as under to the full wager. Where a horse surfaces alone, then bets settled as over.
Either To Win
For a defined race odds are offered for either of the named horses to win.
If either horse is declared a scratch, the entire bet will be considered no action.
Standard Rule 4 deductions apply. Bets settled on the official outcome. Dead-heat rules apply.
